After selling more than 50,000 tickets for his Canadian tour in June, comedian Russell Peters has announced new fall dates, which will bring Peters to Mile One Centre in St. John’s, N.L., on Sept. 18, Ottawa’s Scotiabank Place on Sept. 21, Kingston’s K-Rock Centre on Sept. 22, Sudbury Arena on Sept. 25, the John Labatt Centre in London, Ont., on Sept. 27, Regina’s Brandt Centre on Sept. 29, Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre on Sept. 30, Kelowna’s Prospero Place on Oct. 2, Victoria’s Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre on Oct. 5 and Casino Rama on Oct. 18 and 19.
Peters’ Notorious World Tour has been setting sales and attendance records around the world since the launch of the tour in Muscat in March. The tour has become the highest-attended comedy show in the history of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia – with 3,000 to 10,000 fans attending each show. In Dubai, Peters’ show was the fastest selling concert in the history of the Emirate, surpassing Madonna.
